GEPAR Affiliate of the Year
Built in El Paso. For El Paso.
The Academy of Real Estate was founded in El Paso in 1975 with a simple mission: give people in this community the knowledge and credentials they need to build careers in real estate. For over five decades we’ve done exactly that.
Our instructors are active real estate professionals who live and work in El Paso. Our students learn from teachers who know this market, understand this community, and bring real-world experience into every class they teach.
In 2022 the Academy was honored with the GEPAR Affiliate of the Year award. We’re proud of that recognition, but what we’re most proud of is the more than 20,000 El Paso residents who have gone through our doors and come out the other side with a license and a career.

Small classes, in person
All courses are taught in person at our El Paso campus. You’ll learn in a real classroom setting with experienced local instructors and the ability to ask questions.
El Paso is its own market
The border economy, Fort Bliss, the bilingual community, cross-border considerations: these are realities of practicing real estate here that generic courses don’t fully address. Our instructors know this market because they work in it every day.
Real questions deserve real answers
When you’re in a classroom with an experienced local instructor, you can ask the question that’s actually on your mind, not submit a form and wait for a response.
Invested in this community
Many of El Paso’s most recognized real estate professionals got their start at the Academy. We take pride in being part of that story.
